So you’ve seen all the previous blog articles about upgrading to Sage 50 Accounts v24 to allow you to keep submitting your VAT returns online – well here’s another one but about Payroll this time!
We have received communication from Sage today advising that customers who are using Sage 50 Payroll v23.00 will need to install an update to ensure they can continue to submit their returns. To check your Payroll version, go to Help then About, and under Program Details the Version Number is shown.
PLEASE NOTE – this is not a version upgrade, it is simply an update that needs to be installed. If you haven’t installed the update manually by 5th February, Sage will be pushing this out as a mandatory update, so you will be prompted to install it when you log in…

And it will download.
It should only take a matter of seconds to install this update, and you don’t even need your ‘My Sage’ login details to get hold of the update. Simple stuff but very necessary to keep your company compliant.
